Hey to all my blog readers
thank you for faithfully reading my blogs - as ashley sullivan puts it "its exciting"
anyhow - Christmas is over and it is the week in which some people are out of town - doing random things - many of my friends left for Young Life ski trip - and my brother and my mom are in florida playing soccer (my mom is not a soccer star by the way)
so i've been at home just hanging around with my dad - for the past few days - today we're going to the last Texans game in which they will beat the titans - i'm guessing 21-17 - maybe ill be right - anyhow

I've been taking pictures with my digital camera left and right - pretty much at alot of places i go - some are very random - however i enjoy taking and sharing them - so as soon as i figure it out - i'll put up a link so you guys can see my daily/weekley endeavors - if you dont happen to be a part of them -
i hope all of you are thoroughly enjoying your repective holiday breaks - college kids (i will be one soon...mmmm freedom) have fun - and enjoy all that time - and all of my high school buddies - we have 1 more semester of work - but - otherwise - we're done - DONE! - heck yes

well - i'm heading out to the game - my dad is picking me up and then we're going to the game...duh -
aloha

Its Christmas Eve - Happy Holidays to all
Happy Kwanza
Good Yuntif (Shalom)
Merry Christmas

Funny story time - o and by the way "hi" to all of my regular readers - rachel ferguson - i'm mentioning your name again -because i had a specific instance in which you came to mind - i'm not going to elaborate - and i'm sorry to all of my regular blog readers that i havent' mentioned - such as katie wy - tenney - and others - thank you folks - i appreciate you

any how - i was bored last nite so i met my friend andrea from cy creek over at taco bell - and we went over to kyle crad's house and there we just hung out for about 20 minutes- then people such as mary and adam hull, susan, jessica and austin decided that maybe it would not start to rain and get nasty and go look in prestonwood at christmas lights- funny - anyway andrea, kyle and i didnt really feel like doing so - we have experienced christmas lights for the past (collectively 54 years) of our lives.....figure that one out..... its not hard for those of you not in the top 10 percent (oh wait -thats me too...crap) - so we decided to make our way to the taco bell- which andrea had never experienced
so matt goodwin met us up therre and then ben the train joined us
just as we were enjoying our tacos it started to rain - BAD - like ya'll know- it was really bad - so we were sitting by the window lookin at the palm trees outside sway back and forth with the torrential winds and rain - and we get calls on our cell phones from none other than the group who wanted to go christmas shopping - mary, adam, austin...etc. - so - adam didnt make it up therre - i wonder where he went - but soon enough we see mary's car come rolling up and people start dashing in - austin - trying to talk to someone on the phone- or maybe he wasnt im not quite sure- ran in through the doors and hit the plastirubber matts on the inside - and his feet go flying - i mean folks - he must have gotten his body horizontal - 3 feet in the air - it was nuts- and BOOM - "Down goes Frazier!!!" so - yea - we all laughed and enjoyed the tacos then made our way back to my house to watch Mr. Deeds

I am berry berry sneaky sirr

Wednesday, December 11, 2002

Here i sit - and i'm going to write a big long blog because i can. I'm sitting in the computer lab at Willow Chase (a branch of Tomball Community College) on a freaking awesome computer and its really fast - and my connection is really fast - so i'm doing things online that would take me about 20 minutes or so at home - in about 4 minutes - maybe 4 minutes and 34 seconds. Anyway- i just finished my class - english 1301 - we turned in our final essay - as our final exam. Wow - i got a A- and an A as my 2 major grades for the last essay we turned in - i'm very pleased - anyway - right now i'm very hungry and we're waiting on chelsea munn to register for freaking 1302 - dang- why today?! - its such a nice day out and i'm hungry - austin says papasitos on him as soon as chelsea is done -
man alive do i hate that chelsea munn

ha - j/k - i love her - she's great - and while i'm on the subject - i have very loyal fans i have noticed - people such as kim and lindsay and katie and rachel and hmm....i regret mentioning names because i'm sure that someone will now tell me that they too are a loyal reader and want props for being so - and i have no problem giving them props - so please tell me - if you are a loyal reader - because i certainly appreicate you

my blogs have been pretty short and inconsistent - thats because the 2.5 weeks after Thanksgiving vacation and before Christmas break are stacked full of crap that teachers choose to give us - so i've been trying to keep up with all of this work - it sucks
but its almost over - and i'm so glad -

now for some juicy stuff that people may like:
as some of you may be aware - i'm dating a girl...she's 16 and will be 17 on december 30th - she's a great Christain girl and she's really really cute too - and oh yea - i gues she has a great personality as well - as if i look for that ...sheesh.... (jk)
i enjoy the time i spend with her (and although its not alot - i cherish it) and she makes me happy
all of my friends make me happy as well - and i'm so blessed to have all the things i do - especially my friends and family -

this past weekend my brother (who just turned 16) brought his team down from a 2-0 deficit in the second half of his soccer game, scoring (by himself) 4 goals to take the team to the State championship tournament

This evening he has a game and will be travelling to Austin this weekend to finish playing all of his games and hopefully win the state championship.
I forgot to mention that my brothers team is under 16's and they played up a year - they played this season with the under 17's and they won their division - even beating the U17 team from their own club - Go Classics 86/87

WEll - i'm gonna go out of the computer lab and check out whats going on - if i'm bored - back to the lab again (haha...anyone get it?) to do more things - and maybe blog more since i enjoy this keyboard greatly

Monday, December 09, 2002

i didnt mean to say - read on adam - i was trying to do a link thingy - eh - o well - i'm not a computer langusistics genius

i'm gonna go do some homework

LINDSAY FOWLER

we lost our lacrosse game and i worked at a private party -setting up for the festivities occuring now...

exciting weekend....i'm so glad this semester is almost over...whew

Saturday, December 07, 2002

KIM PODRAZA - hey kim - i'm sorry i forgot to mention you the other day

well - i went to a lacrosse game today and then i worked setting up for a huge party at the Lanier's.
I made some money which makes me happy - now i'm going to be over at miori's for a little bit watching the Big 12 championship - neat huh?

i think i want OU to win. - go OU.

You see, working at the laniers isnt a particularly grueling task, but it is one in which you have to be self motivated to do work and complete things - i dunno - i was acutally working and stuff and some people were just like standing around or just like riding around in a golf cart - i mean come on folks - if someone is paying you to work - then geez - work - dont just sit there and pick your butt waiting for a job to come to you -
i think it falls somewhere in the lines of the "honor code" - anyway - i may be working tomorrow at the lanier's party where many many people will be - enjoying free food and games and many many things - such as a concert by Crosby, Stills and Nash (and Young, but he died)
anyway - i'm gonna go - time for some food

o yes my brother's birthday was thursday - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BROTHER - he's 16 - very scary - time flies by so much - i'm scared

o yes - i finished my college apps to U.T. and A&M - i think i'll end up at A&M though - so - o well - gig 'em

Aloha

WEell tomorrow I'm going to the University of Texas vs. Texas A&M game in Austin. I'm travelling up there w/ my bro and the ever famous and awesome Chris Riley and back with someone. I'm not sure just yet so...

Anyway - I'm gonna hit the sack soon, after I talk to my friend in Seattle - Caitlin.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE - and i'm thankful for each and every single one of you who read my blog. It means alot to me believe it or not, and I'm sorry when I dissapoint you with boring blogs, and I'm proud when I make you laugh or ponder deeper things.

Very Truly Yours,
Daniel
Well as i sit here let me tell you whats going on. Oasis is playing on Winamp and my bro is playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater on NINTENDO 64! How awesome is that?! Well the Davis family came over and we enjoyed many good laughs and stuff with them. We went back to the Davis' and we got the N64 and had a few games of older vs. younger brothers in RUSH 2 - Extreme Racing USA and Goldeneye 007. WOW. I cant really write much more about it. It was such an amazing time - the memories - the good times - the 64 bits. WOW.
Anyway, I know that everyone has many types of traditions they do on Turkey Day, and one of ours has been for the past like 17 years or so is to cook our turkey in the oven inside of a paper bag. Evidently a long time ago someone suggested it to my mother and father and we've enjoyed rich, juicy turkey ever since.
Let me list some of the things I'm thankful for (in no particular order):
God, my family (mom brother dad), my other family - not in Houston, my best friends, all of my friends, my car, money, the Bible, music - of MANY kinds, football, soccer, golf, grass, outdoors, water, swimming, 70 degree weather, 30 cent wing night at BW3's, volleyball, food, my friends out of Texas (you know who you are)

Wednesday, November 27, 2002

Many of my college friends are getting in to town today. Some got into town yesterday as well. I'm wondering what i should do with today.

Monday, November 25, 2002

I can't believe that every single school district in the Area has the ENTIRE week off, and not just Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Thats stupid - cuz all my friends have been able to go out these past days, and i'm stuck at home studying for stupid tests. CRAP! That sucks!
Well - tomorrow is 30 cent wing day at BW3's - so i'll be hittin' that, celebrating the Thanksgiving Holidays...
Speaking of which - look for an updated post of a list of things i'm thankful for...
Well, I'm not really sure what to post - i had a good topic today in History for some reason, but i've since forgotten. My grandmother got in town today and she's staying for Thanksgiving. We usually hang out with the Davises (?) - or rather the Davis family - on Thanksgiving and we enjoy good times. Its my brother's birthday soon - December 5th to be exact - which i believe is Katie Tenney's birthday as well - so to both my brother and Katie - happy birthday, soon.
Hopefully before the year ends, I'll be able to make it up to see Claudia Howell - my best Virginia friend, whom i miss dearly. Claudia - you are so awesome.
I'm trying to find a ticket, as well as a job for which i can earn money to buy presents for my family and a ticket to VA, to see her.

Saturday, November 23, 2002

Well i just got back from San Marcos where our volleyball team lost to Austin Westlake in the State semifinals. Man this sucks - we lost - but the girls played an awesome game, and I'm proud of them. Anyway, I'll update my blog later today i hope.

Tuesday, November 19, 2002

Well, I really had some good topics in my mind this afternoon to blog about.....but i forgot them.....tough cookies...
Romans 7:15
"For what I am doing, I do not understand; for I am not doing what I like to, but I am doing the very thing I hate."

Claudia, I miss you...

Yea, I"m a slacker too - i'll try really hard folks to update it later this week

I was in North Carolina where my brother was playing a national soccer tournament...he's good...so is his team

Geez, I wish i had more time, or used it more efficiently anyway...

Tuesday, November 12, 2002

Why does the decision of which college to go to come down to so much?
Friends, education, acceptance, ahhhhhhhhhh
Dang, I wish it was easier...

Any advice for me?

Monday, November 11, 2002

Hello readers,
Monday at school is done, and I'm just turning in my Latin 4 paragraph. I decided to take a minute to write a quick entry. As i've talked to many people since i've started 'blogging', it find it very interesting how many people have read at least one entry of my blog. I appreciate each one of you. My counter is at 900 something and I love the way I'm able to communicate with people through this medium. My blog is a way to express myself and the thoughts that i have regarding different topics. Its encouraging that people read it and I implore of you to keep it up.

This past weekend, as i've already said, I took a trip with Ben Williams to College Station. We met up with many of our friends there (both current high schoolers as well as our friends at A&M) and had a "whale-of-a-time". For next year at college, I realized that i want to be surrounded with people who exhibit the some or all of the following characteristics:
- Caring, selfless, Christ-like attitudes
- Humourous
- Athletic
- Smart
- Hard-working/Focused
- Knowledge of college sports
- Understanding

I think this is a good start on a list of characteristics that are appealing to me. NOW, WHAT I'M NOT SAYING IS THIS: I will only hang out with people who exhibit these qualities. Its just that I greatly appreciate people who exhibit many of these attitudes. Wouldn't you?
Well I'm off to go and eat something...
Aloha

Sunday, November 10, 2002

I'm on Steven Morris' computer, its 9:30 in the morning and I had a great time yesterday in college station. Let me tell you what made my visit to Aggieland an extremely awesome one.
1) I was at the biggest upset in college football this semester. I was at the Texas A&M game where they beat Oklahoma University. I called Whitney H. many times this weekend, but she would not answer her cell phone. She goes to Oklahoma University, and Oklahoma University lost, they lost to A&M.
2) At Joelle Webb's and Abby Johnson's and Jessica Wright's, and Rachel Maclahan's place, I stayed most of Saturday night. There we watched Zoolander, hung out, and played poker. One of my long lost poker friends, Chris Riley, was in town for the weekend as well, and so Me, Miori, and Chris Riley introduced Jon Boben to 2 awesome poker games that my friends and I usually play: 3-5-7, and Acey Ducey. It was very fun and i lost approximately 10 dollars. That was not a fun part, but hey - Good times were had by all.
3) Walking around, driving around, doing whatever in College Station is definately a cool thing.

Well I'm fixing to leave for home, so hopefully i'll post more later...

Interrupted - i just went and found Ben - he stayed with his friend last night, so...

Saturday, November 09, 2002

ok - so here i sit
Never again will I attend another High School football game:
1) As a high school student
2) As a Standleader
3) As an avid fan of high school football - although - i'm sure i will love watching H.S. games later in life.

Man, its kinda sad - we lost to a great Klein Forest team - they are good - i must give props where props are due. (Props KF, Props)
Anyway - tommorrow i head up to Texas A&M to watch the game, err massacre, that is A&M v. OU
Good luck Aggies - you'll need alot.
Tommorrow night I will post from Aggieland - maybe in Jon Boben's dorm, maybe in Steve Morris'

Aloha

Thursday, November 07, 2002

I just got back from a trip to Bryan where Klein Varsity volleyball wrecked shop on Round Rock.

Dang, what an intense game. The Standleaders were going crazy, the volleyball players were playing aweosme. WOW! what a night for Sport and more specifically, Volleyball.
How desparately i wish that Klein had a men's volleyball team. I would be on that like ugly on Whoopi Goldberg. i could not imagine how cool it would be if there was even like a sand volleyball club.

Ok, well i'm out - what a night - and tommorrow night THE FOREST WILL BURN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tuesday, November 05, 2002

Chris Riley (of the late Riley Factor.....well not really late - but delayed, lets say) decided it might be fun
to waste his time (since he has nothing to do with his boring life) clicking back and forward on my page, increasing my counter.
Thank you Chris, you big poopy-doo doo head.

That is all....for now

Monday, November 04, 2002

I could not have said it better...

ThePatBrown: I like football
ThePatBrown: I like sport
ThePatBrown: sport and america
ThePatBrown: God bless where we live
ThePatBrown: where the klein football budget is bigger
than the average net profits of many african countries

Truth...

Why is it, folks, that people are so quick to resort to violence even at the slightest hint of a joke...

This is made up - not a bit of truth to it...but i did encounter a similar situation...and it just bewilders me

Daniel (in a joking manner, to crazed country boy obsessed with his mediocre truck): Man, I'm gonna slice your tires, and key ur doors! HAHA!

Crazed country boy (offended): No you arent, you had better not, cuz i'll keel you...I sware - if you do - i'll kill you and your family...

Its funny - just how people over react... - remember this is a paralell situation, and i didnt really have this exact conversation...

Wednesday, October 30, 2002

So this day got progressively worse

As one 'Mr. Boyd' of a band 'Incubus' puts it:

Hey what would it mean to you
To know that it'll come back around again
Hey whatever it means to you
Know that everything moves in circles
Round and round we go

Some days rock, some days suck, but i suppose that I'll try my best to buck up and let the sucky days kick me in the ((pants)), and try to remember how i feel on the good days...becuase I know they too will come again...and so my life turns - in CIRCLES - and one day i hope that I will have worked hard enough and trusted God enough to have days that are more like an oval - where a majority of the time - it will be good - on one side or another - but the tough times will just be lessend...

I hope the day will come soon
Well guess what...
Some people think (sometimes) that I'm a little too sheltered.
Daniel: "Man, Jackass was so freaking funny."
Mystery person: "YOU saw JACKASS???!!!"
Daniel: "Huh? Yea why wouldn't I have seen jackass - its hilarious"
Mystery person: "Well it has some like really rauchy parts in it."
Daniel: then "Ok........"

Yes folks, I live oblivious to the world. The only things that come on my TV are ESPN (even when athletes are getting interviews and may have a cuss word bleeped out, I cover my ears), the Discovery channel (except the mating habit segments), Food and Garden Network, and the Evangalism stations (with the crazy preachers). I dont change my radio from KSBJ, and I certainly dont have any other music than Christian music (FYI - i enjoy many different types of music.....other than Christian, but for the most part - i've found that most of the only really TRULY positive and uplifting stuff most often times is stuff that Christian artists sing about)
In all honesty, I really hope that i dont come accross as a Christian that is totally out of touch with the world, or one that appears 'Holier-than-thou'. If i thought i was being like that - either one of my good friends should slap me or i would make an unbelievable effort to get back in touch with this world that i live in.
By no means am i saying that i grew up on the streets of Harlem, or know what "real hip hop" is ...I didnt, and i probably dont.
But what i do feel like when people say things like that is - CRAP - utter crap.
And it sucks because it makes me feel like i cant possibly relate to ANYTHING my friends (even some of my Christian friends) are saying, struggling with, or have gone through; when in actuality - i can relate to some things
Some things I havent experienced - and for that - i'm thankful - i dont really want to have gone through my girlfriend getting pregnant and having the choice regarding abortion, or something of that kind of life experience...
Man - it just frustrates me (which some people love to see) when someone assumes that i dont have a clue whats going on...
eh o well -

Maybe its me...

Tuesday, October 29, 2002

Man alive, what a beautiful day today. The sun is shining, its about 74.3 degrees and the sky is blue as, the words for a hyperlink. I think the people of Houston and surrounding area deserve it, as we had rain for the past 268 hours. dang...
Oh well. I"m gonna go get to work on my college apps - actually just finish up the essay for the Texas Common Application.

On another note, I wish that we had a better shot at playoffs than hoping for a win for Woodlands against KF.

On another note, I wish that Incubus would play another show so i could go enjoy it agains.

On another note, I wish that i had some easier classes so i could get into the top 10 percent.

On another note, I wish that the decision as to which college i would attend would be much easier.

On another note, I wish that illegal drugs would not affect the lives of so many people

On another note, aloha

Monday, October 28, 2002

Jon Boben and Steven Morris have informed me that the Cadets didnt actually draw their swords, but they put their hands on them. Steve told me that one of the Cadets clotheslined a crazed Husker fan, leaving him unconscious. Sounds very exciting. I cant wait till the UT/A&M game; it will be so very intense.

School sucks.

Sunday, October 27, 2002

INCUBUS - enough said....holy crap.....woah

On another note...Chris Riley informs me that as Nebraska fans tried to storm Kyle Field after their win (a dumb move in the first place), the Corps of Cadets at A&M drew their swords!
I cant believe it...holy crap...how ridiculous is that?
I'll answer that question - UNBELIEVABLY ridiculous
Why on earth would they do that? If some excited Husker fan decided to step onto the 20 yardline, would a "protective" Cadet have rammed his sword through his rib cage and pierced his heart?
I dont know - maybe he would have...I'd say hopefully not, for his own good as well as the crazed fan's.
There would be absolutly no justification for a criminally stupid (and serious) offense. Would this Cadet have been charged with murder? YES. Would this Cadet probably have the support of most of the Corps and/or the University? YES. I hope that any Texas Aggie out there would not support their actions of rendering their arms to "defend" the "sacred ground" that large, angry men (from both Nebraska and A&M) just played a game on. Why, Cadets? Why?! Give me, someone! Anyone! to justify these absurd actions. If i'm wrong or mistaken about the FACTS in any way (not drawing their swords, or whatever) let me know so i may retract the commentary if i deem it to be stupid.
Other than that Score 1 for UT and loss of a point for A&M this weekend in my college decision game (choice that most likely will be between A&M and UT).
Right now, I'm a Bearkat...and we must beat Klein Forest
BURN THE FOREST!!!!!!!

Thank you.
Thank you to all of those who have hit my blog looking for daily updates.
I just came off of one of the busiest weeks ever. I had 2 tests and a project to complete. I wish i had time to talk to all of my friends on AIM, but i had to do what i had to do. So last night i spent the night at Austin's after we lost to Spring. This sucks. We arent guaranteed to be in the playoffs now, and to get in we have to have the Woodlands beat Klein Forest, and we MUST beat Klein Forest in 2 weeks. This really is upsetting. We didnt do well at all last night. It was miserable conditions and our starting quaterback Zack Schnider was injured in the 2nd quater. It was crazy!

Ok, check this out... I shaved my head. Bald. Completely bald. Many people saw me today at school. I got comments such as: "Wow!" and "Thats...interesting..." I was told throughout the day today that my hair (or lack thereof) looked better than Austin's. I guess that its because he has a huge lump from an accident when he was 3 or whatever that is exemplified by the shave. Well - i'm trying to get some pictures so you can see them.

I can't stand it when people do things without regard for other's feelings. People who do this are ridiculously selfish and ignorant. Why dont they just buck up and do something they may not want to do.

I HATE THE WOODLANDS HIGH SCHOOL - THEY THINK THEY'RE ALL THAT AND GUESS WHAT - THEY ARE NOT.
We tore them up - we played better but, man alive- a key interception (bad pass by #9) for them and - geez - we just gave it up. In 20 years we havent beat them. That just sucks. Well Austin shaved his head like - bald - acutally i helped him and i'm doing it sunday, cuz i have family portraits sunday afternoon. Oh well, go figure. I'm at my house w/ Ben Williams tonight just hanging out - talking to my friend Caitlin from Seattle. Interesting story a/b us, ask me sometime. Have a super rest of the saturday folks.

Allright - i'm in first period again working on our project. I hope everyone has a great day today, because I know that I will. After we pick up his boat today, Austin is coming back to my house and we are going to shave his head. Originally it was my idea to shave my head - and i'm going to do it also, but i have to wait till after "family portaits" on sunday. So as soon as we get back from the place where we're taking pictures...off w/ my hair. This is going to happen, unless Austin or I raise 50 dollars not to shave our heads. Comments anyone? Oh well

So my parents just left town about 2 minutes ago and I am very very exicted about just being on my own this weekend. My brother is with me but he's gonna be at his friend's house and work and soccer most of the weekend, but its cool. I'm like really pumped! Miori is coming over in a little bit w/ Pat and we're gonna hang out then i get to see the Northside Hustlas in action tonight at the champ - wrecking down the shop in the flag football league. How i wish i was a part of that. My friend Jon Armour promised me a spot in earlier months saying "Weizel, you're on the team, I'll let you know more later." So i waited, and guess what - when it came time for the "first practice" - guess who was left out...ME - and Armour's excuse was "You didnt sign up and pay, everyone else did." So i come to find out that not only hasn't Miori paid, but Austin, Ben and Matt Reynolds hadn't paid either - go figure. I guess Armour didnt think that i had what it takes to play on 'his' team. So I suppose I'm not as good as Brian Jones (obviously the weakest player on the team). I'm not bashing Brian, but i do believe that i could read defenses better and run faster as well as catch better than him. I just think that, I could be wrong but i doubt it. Ok well i suppose i'll go try to do something productive, maybe the little homework i have. Anyway, I'm sure you'll be hearing more about this weekend of freedom later.
Aloha
Oh wait, i'm in first period again doing not alot - my partner - a fellow other Latin 4 students have dubbed "Jumpy" had found a website that breaks down all of the possible categories of our great country
this is it

visit this site - its very interesting - in fact - visit that whole site - its even more intersting
there is a breakdown of the 2000 census that include "Humans over 5 years of age who speak another language other than English 'very well'"
wow - what a waste of my tax dollars - i think

and so we do as he says and head over to the Miori's house - wow! - good times - the most perfect day of the year and i'm not in class i'm in my best friends backyard kicking fieldgoals, playing with his dog, and talking to some of my close friends...what a day...then comes homework - then church - it was ok - then joey called me - joey is so great - i love him

"So keep it here for almost daily updates on Dan's life and his views of events therein..."
Have a wondeful night
I think I've sucessfully changed my bloggin URL

i believe its now

man alive- i thought i lost all of my last entry that i typed at school
dang - well i'm glad i didnt
i'm fixing to go to college english - 1301 - at tomball
its a joke
haha - like funny funny joke- its that easy
i'll post later on what i wrote about for my paper
Hello readers, I'm at school in first period, and i figured i'd take the time to post a lil entry, type thing
I was going to try and make my blog funny, but, oh wait, i cant make it funny, it just has to be humorous to whoever finds it funny.
If its not funny, then you dont have to laugh or read my blog.
Anyway, Let me tell you why i'm taking Latin 4 - 'Honors' - there is really one main reason, and thats because i didnt work hard enough in the following classes: Psychology, Latin 2, English 1, Precal advanced, and some others.
You see, i'm 11, now, spots away from the top 10 percent of my class. When i got my class rank in the summer, I was 100 out f 926 people. I was expecting my class rank to be somewhere well within the threshold of the top 10 percent, so when i found out that i was 7 spaces out, you can imagine (or maybe you cant) how pissed off i was. This is something that just gets me frustrated. I cant stand the fact that I got beat out of my top 10 percent spots (for the time being however) by people like Grant Sherrick, for instance, since he's sitting 2 spots down from me as i type. I believe he's number 78 and i know for a fact that he conisders himself "extremely lazy" and i'm pretty sure i can beat him on any type of standardized or specialized test. Taking nothing from him but, i think maybe i worked a liiiiiiiitle bit harder than he did. Oh well, there are more important things in life. I'm going to be working harder to maybe boost myself into the top 10 percent by the semester break; seeing now that i am 11 spots out since 30 people found something better to do than EARN A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA! holy crap - are people really just that ignorant of education and work, or do they just think that maybe mommy and/or daddy will provide everything for them for the rest of the FRIGGIN' LIVES! pitiful...lame...the list goes on of words i'd like to say to people who disregard education and all the opportunites it brings. Go home, live with you parents, and maybe someday you'll marry someone with a work ethic who's going to make something of their lives, unlike you. I hope my friends all will work hard in college, cuz i know i will.

In other news, it seems that people like to get drunk on weekends. People in high school do this for any number of reasons. Some of the reasons i've heard as to why they 'drink' i will list in the following sentences. Told to me yesterday: "I dont really do it alot, but when you're at a party and everyone's doing it, you'll look just gay if you dont join in, so i do it......I've been drunk before and no matter what she says you always have some control of your body and decision making, so you know what you're doing when you mess around with guys..."
Well to any of my readers who drink regularly in college or high school or heck, even after college...i hope you are having fun - and i hope you are enjoying the entertainment you pay for. Understand this: i do not support what you are doing. I believe its wrong, and i believe it is ridiculous, but understand this also: If you are my friend you are my friend, and i'm not going to completely disregard our friendship because of what you do. What you do is what you do, but i just wont support it. I'm sure i'll post more on this topic later but, i'm through for now.

its time to get to work in Latin. Natalie Swallow has just informed me that this project is due monday and guess who's absent, my partner. This is turning quickly into a great day.

But as Austin Adams says "Hey man, dont worry about it, you're going to Heaven"

Hi its daniel and I have over at my house Chris Riley and Jon Boben (not necessarily in that order of importance) but they are here now - and i love hanging out with them. They are possibly the most funny duo that i could think of hanging out with at any random point in my life, as of now. Jon Boben, as previously mentioned, was the first person that i know of to start publishing a blog regularly. Visit his blog, his audience ranges from people in his hometown Klein, Texas to people from Peru, London, Japan, and, Canada. These people from other countries happen to regularly read it, and that just blows my mind. I want to do a little survey right now and if you are reading this, then please email me and tell me where you are from, that is if you are from another city maybe, and/or you dont see me regularly or know me. My sentences are a bit choppy, since i am excited. Its homecoming weekend and there are great people over here, and Ashley Sullivan's birthday is tommorrow. Happy Birthday Ashley! I love you tons!
G'day, all.
email daniel
I look forward to hearing from my audience from many different places.
This is Jon Boben, and I just had to hack the system for my buddy Dan. You can thank me for the counter by visiting my blog @ jonboben.blogspot.com.

Hey Everyone
I hope I've gotten some hits - Jon Boben if you are reading this please tell me how to get a "hit meter" on my site....
Well Klein beat Conroe today
I got a little red from the sun
I'm not sure what to say - i'll think of something fun to say a little later this weekend...
I'm tired
A few more things:
- Jon Boben was the first one in my knowledge to have a blog (within the people that i know)
- The trench coat explaination is why i named my blog the trench coat
- One of my favorite sayings is "dont sing it, bring it" so thats my address
OK - check it out...
2 things
1) I don't use correct punctuation and sentence endings...whatever...i just dont
2) Trench Coats, on someone relatively cool multiplies their coolness by an infinite amount
and tell me in any movie when a trench coat isnt blowing up from the wind (Count of Montecristo, MI 2, Matrix) or movement, doesnt look cool, it just doesnt happen
