hello everyone
this past weekend i had an extremely awesome time at my church retreat...
we attended this conference held at our church...
it was way cool to see so many people - close to 3000 students...
pack our church for this conference...
there was a drama team...and like i'm not one for religious drama teams...usually they tend to be melodramatic, unrealistic and not effective...but this team was way more than i expected...they portrayed the life to stephen - the first martyr in the Bible - in modern terms...actually futuristic terms... and it wasnt freakishly gay either...they did a great job of actually making it believable...so anyway - it was just a great number of acts - helping to explain Biblical principles about FAITH...and what specific scriptures talk about it and stuff...but the main verses the conference was based on was Hebrews 11 - basically the whole chapter...it talks about faith being defined as something we hope for and being certain of what we cannot see...i'll write more later dinner time

any how - i'm going to watch the batchelorette and batchelor couples reunite tonite...so - that should be fun

well i just started watching the bourne identity - wow...cant wait to finish it

i'm going to eat lunch and play volleyball with steve morris and i saw pete crawford today (in person)...if only yao would wreck on shaq - my day would be close to perfect

i got my bell rung today at lacrosse - man like i dont even remember it - like i remember going down for the ball and waking up on the bench...dang

anyway - sadie is tonite i'm super excited ...yay sadie - and i get to go with the cutest girl i know - brittany
anyway -

i hate it how like - some people will never ever learn how to manage thigns on their own...they dont have a job -and guess what...they arent struggling for money...and if they do have a job - they dont need the money - they just keep it - and use daddy's credit card...like thats fine - if God's blessed you with that - i understand but - like - i mean i just got a job and i owe money to my parents for borrowing money from them...like i owe them...they gave me money expecting it back...and it really makes me sick when people who dont like...need the money...and just are spoiled...like dont even realize it and try to be humble about it..."oh yea, i went to the mall and i got this awesome jacket and these new jeans and 87 shirts..."

right...i wish i had money to burn like that and if i did...i'd go to the Gap sale rack cuz they have some aweosme stuff back there - not right to abercrombie to get a nice shirt or something...brats

Granted, i'm so very thankful for the things i have -and i've been so blessed by God with my family and friends and food and whatever else...but - its just my feelings...take 'em or leave 'em

i watch klein win against oak friday night - my brother would have scored if grove would have passed the ball on one specific instance...but its ok...we won
then i played poker for a while at craddocks house - i came up 2 bux - i'll take it

tried on my tux sat. for the ncl senior presentation sat. night - whew - glad it fit
danced my tail off sat. at NCL senior presentation - met some really nice gals - lauren zoleman from tomball - lauren if you run across this -hahaha - it was nice meeting you -
and jordan carr - whose middle name is colette - and there is a guy on my bro's socer team named jordan colett - very strange - anywho - sunday was churhc at the new ELEMENT - the student service - pretty sweet - then lunch at willies w/ some good folks - target w/ fryman for a few -

well i finished my stat project
my brother made the state team for his age group - like he's one of the 2 best strikers in texas at his age group
and he's gonna get to play other states and stuff...crazy eh?

i played lacrosse today and had 1 shot - i think it was exciting
i got smashed today too - at the game- dang what a hit - we lost by 1 goal
but we're replaying cuz the other coach said it was not a goal either

i was just surfing around trying to find someone who had updated their blog so i could read something interesting - my girlfriend did (see right - "britt fry is special") and adam hasnt in a long time - although adam, i know you are a blog reader regularly...or semi regularly - it seems that ash, you havent had time to update your blog...skains is not a slacker...whit...chip...slackers...and i know - i do it too - jon boben is allowed to because lindsay steck told me this weekend that she printed out his blog - like all entries - just to use her credits at the a&m library which is included in the fees - of free pages - 249 or something - no one comes close - and i dont know that anyone will...however - its still exciting to see regular posts

i started my job a quiznos today (haha sleepless caitlin) - it was pretty cool - good food - good ppl - damon is awesome and so is his wife and this other guy "Rolman" coolest name ever...
i learned how to slice meat - how to clean the meat slicer and how to run the register - barely though -
i missed lacrosse -and i may have to for a while even though that sux alot - cuz my job -

here's a few things

i dont want to be confrontational but i think Grant, (grantsblog.blogspot.com) you are sorely confused -
let me clarify -
yes, Jesus drank. Jesus didnt get drunk - it was customary back then - there were no LAWS prohibiting drinking of wine - at a certain age - as far as i know -
there are LAWS today grant - that PROHIBIT consuming alcoholic drinks until you turn 21 -
when i turn 21 - i'm going to drink
i dont think i'm going to get plastered - but i will drink - grant - its not wrong to drink alcohol - so long as you are WITHIN THE BOUNDS OF THE LAW - what i'm saying is that i understand some of my friends drink - underage - and thats what i cant support - i still love them- they're my friends...but - i just cant support that if it goes against things i believe in

people who sway with their beliefs - "oh, now its ok i guess...just this one time..." or "well, since this happened its ok now..."
whatever - if you cant stand for important things in your life....what else is there to stand for ??

i'm not going to eventually sway from my belief (which i know is the truth) that underage drinking is wrong
drinking when you are of age - is not wrong - in fact - i'm willing to say its enjoyable sometimes- but thats just gonna have to wait
